We encourage our winners to buy more books from Amazon or something that interests them!

In Collaboration with MKA USA and Lajna Imaillah USA, The Waqf-e-Nau Department is kicking off the 2023 Summer Book Reading Challenge. The challenge is open to all Waqfeen-e-Nau girls and boys (any age).

The challenge starts on June 1st, 2023, and ends on August 31st, 2023. During this time, challenge participants shall log their reading time independently using the reading log file provided below. The challenge is not limited to Jamaat books; any book reading counts towards this challenge. Amazon Gift Cards are given as prizes!

Participants should register for the Challenge at this form and then start logging their reading using this Reading Log File You may print multiple copies of the reading log file if needed.

A list of top participants will inshAllah be published on the website and in our Voice of Waqf-e-Nau newsletter. Prizes for this challenge will consist of Amazon gift cards valued between $1 and $50. The Gift Card amount is determined based on a criteria that takes the total number of reading hours logged and how regularly the participant reads as well as age. Regularity of reading is measured by the number of days on which the participant logs at least 30 minutes of reading. Younger Waqifeen-e-Nau will have a slightly different criteria.

We recommend, that you read at least 30 minutes each day

The challenge is based on total reading duration and regularity of reading (on how many days you read at least 30 minutes).  

Just print multiple pages and add the page number at the bottom at the end of the challenge before submitting it to us.

  • Please feel free to read any Jamaat books you would like to read. For older Waqfeen-e-Nau we recommend the books mentioned in the syllabus, e.g.
