First of all, Huzoor (Aba) mentions again and again that we need Murabbian and Mubaligheen, and for that it is important that as many Waqifeen-e-Nau as possible should go to Jamia.

Secondly Jama’at needs teachers in fields like (geography, chemistry, physics, biology, astronomy, natural science, research, math, statistic). After having done their masters/bachelor’s degree, Waqifeen-e-Nau should let the Jama’at know.

Then there are Waqifeen-e-Nau needed in the following fields: Doctors, Translators, Engineers (civil, electrical, architectural), Lawyers, Medical science, IT, Media (production, transmission, scheduling, broadcasting), Journalism, Architecture, Archaeology, Environmental technology, Agriculture, Religious scholars, Homeopathy, Nursing, Medical technician, Pharmacist, Accountant, Printers & Publishers, Business administration.

Apart from this, with the special permission of Huzoor (Aba) Waqifeen-e-Nau are also allowed to go into civil services.

In regards of choosing your career, Huzoor (Aba) mentioned:

Based on this principle, indeed Waqifeen-e-Nau can work for worldly organizations, but the purpose of them gaining that knowledge and skill should be to prove the Unity of God and to spread the true teachings of the faith throughout the world. In the same way Waqifeen-e-Nau can choose to pursue other careers, however they must bear in mind the fundamental objective that they have dedicated their lives for the service of their religion. Therefore, if they are summoned at point in time they will give up their worldly commitments to commence their service for their faith and this should take place instantly without any excuses or delays.”
