"To honour your pledge requires constant effort, great passion and enormous sacrifices. It requires complete devotion to your Creator."
- Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba)
ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN
At the International Waqf-e-Nau Refresher Course in January 2026, Huzoor-e-Anwar (aba) gave direct and specific instructions to parents and Waqifeen-e-Nau that require action from every Waqf-e-Nau. This "Take Action" campaign has been created as a guide for every Waqf-e-Nau and parent to take action. We have created letter templates that can be used to send a fax to Huzoor via our website. This is a mandatory task for all, and we urge everyone to report to us by Eid.
Guidance for Parents
Expectations
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) has instructed that parents must fully understand their responsibilities and make every effort to raise a Waqf-e-Nau who is capable of fulfilling the requirements of their dedication.
Huzoor (aba) reminded the Jama'at that Waqf-e-Nau is not a title; rather, it is a covenant made by the parents before the birth of the child, which must later be renewed and upheld by the Waqf-e-Nau themselves.
Parents are expected to act upon ALL action items listed here & ensure all Waqifeen-e-Nau children (regardless of age) take actions upon their relative tasks listed on this page.
Actions Needed
- Renew Commitment:
Write a letter (via fax/mail) to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba), explicitly pledging that you will strive to raise your child according to Huzoor’s (aba) expectations.
(Send a Fax) - Study the Guidelines
Read and reflect upon the foundational Friday Sermon that details the "Constitution of Waqf-e-Nau" to understand the specific requirements of this scheme.
(Constitution of Waqf-e-Nau) - Regular Self-Assessment
Both parents should regularly evaluate their own conduct. Ensure you are setting a practical example that is significantly higher than the standard expected of raising a non-Waqf-e-Nau Ahmadi child. - Constant Reminders
Instill the importance of the Waqf-e-Nau pledge in your children from a very early age and continue throughout their lives. The primary responsibility of their moral training rests on you. - Stay Connected
